Casis Weekly (10/19/26 - 10/23/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! The majority of Parent Conferences have been completed and last week’s Fall Picture Day was a success. We’re so excited that ‘Carnival Week’ is finally here. This highly anticipated annual event will get kicked off with a building contest, front-of-the-line pass contest, and even a Parade. Wow! And then of course, we’ll conclude the week with our ‘Cosmic Casis’ Carnival. It will be out of this world!
Casis Weekly (10/13/26 - 10/16/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! It was just awesome to see so many Casis families participating in ‘National Walk, Bike, & Roll To School Day’ last week. And we’re so happy to share that our annual ‘Vision and Hearing Screening’ activities went very well, with the help of our wonderful parent volunteers and School Nurse. Lastly, it was just awesome to see so many Casis families (former, current, and future) this past Thursday night at House Park Stadium for the Austin High Vertical Team ‘Future Maroon Night’ event. Casis was represented very well, both in number and in school spirit. Way to go! This week will be ‘Elementary Conference Day’ and ‘Picture Day’. And the planning for our ‘Cosmic Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing. You won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 23. It will be out of this world!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! This week, there will be some great community activities happening: Vision and Hearing Screenings, Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day, and our Future Maroon Community Night. And now that October is here, it’s ‘Casis Carnival Month’! The planning for our ‘Cosmic Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing and you won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 23. It will be out of this world! Fall Parent Conferences will also be getting underway, so families should be hearing from your teachers about that soon.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of this school year was very engaging. It was great for administration to dialogue with parents about how the year has been going so far, as well as share thoughts about various school topics. Well October is here and it’s ‘Casis Carnival Month’! The planning for our ‘Cosmic Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing and you won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 23. It will be out of this world!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Fall has officially arrived and I know that we all can’t wait for cooler weather to arrive as well. We look forward to our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of the school year this Friday. Both the School and PTA will continue planning school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’, promising to make this school year one that will be full of fun and learning. Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! As we move into this fifth week of school and further into the month of September, we are all falling into our school routines. And as we continue to refine our new school year processes, please know how much we appreciate the cooperation and understanding of everyone. Our Learning Community must work as a unit to ensure that safe practices are natural and everyday occurrences at Casis Elementary. Also, various school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’ are currently being planned, promising to make this school year one that will be full of both fun and learning.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! It was great to see so much spirit and excitement on ‘National College Colors Day’. There were so many special shirts and apparel worn to show college university pride. And I certainly hope that the three-day weekend provided everyone a little time to slow down before the rest of the school year takes off.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Here we are going into our third week and our school systems are beginning to fall into place. That said, there is still much to learn, as we continue to move into this new school year. We’re excited for the upcoming ‘National College Colors Day’ on this Friday. We hope many will participate.

Cougar PRIDE Families, We had an amazing first week back at Casis! And it was wonderful to see all of our families at the Open House and PIM events that led to the start of school. These events help to ensure that our school year gets off to a smooth beginning, and it certainly has. Students, Staff, and Parents have all seemed so happy to be back and we look forward to continuing that same spirit and momentum. Our teachers and staff have all worked so hard to prepare for this new school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be a great final week at Casis! Last week, our ‘Track & Field Days’ were so great – everything from the ‘Penny Wars’ to the ‘Poster Contest’ to our ‘Guest Speaker’ to the ‘T & F Stations’, including the ‘Tug for Fun’ events. Big congratulations to our Physical Education Team and Parent Volunteers for a job well-done. This 2025– 2026 school year has been so very rewarding and has brought many wonderful moments.
Casis Weekly (5/18/26 - 5/22/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, we were visited by the All Rhythms Cuban percussion band. It was such a nice way to end the week. This week is ‘Track & Field Days’, which will begin with an Opening Ceremony. And we’ll all actually enjoy one more School Holiday next Monday (Memorial Day), before departing for the summer months. The remaining events in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, we celebrated so much: Teacher Appreciation Week, School Nurse Appreciation Week, and National Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day. The remaining events in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.
