Casis Weekly (9/28/26 - 10/2/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of this school year was very engaging. It was great for administration to dialogue with parents about how the year has been going so far, as well as share thoughts about various school topics. Well October is here and it’s ‘Casis Carnival Month’! The planning for our ‘Cosmic Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing and you won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 23. It will be out of this world!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Fall has officially arrived and I know that we all can’t wait for cooler weather to arrive as well. We look forward to our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of the school year this Friday. Both the School and PTA will continue planning school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’, promising to make this school year one that will be full of fun and learning. Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! As we move into this fifth week of school and further into the month of September, we are all falling into our school routines. And as we continue to refine our new school year processes, please know how much we appreciate the cooperation and understanding of everyone. Our Learning Community must work as a unit to ensure that safe practices are natural and everyday occurrences at Casis Elementary. Also, various school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’ are currently being planned, promising to make this school year one that will be full of both fun and learning.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! It was great to see so much spirit and excitement on ‘National College Colors Day’. There were so many special shirts and apparel worn to show college university pride. And I certainly hope that the three-day weekend provided everyone a little time to slow down before the rest of the school year takes off.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Here we are going into our third week and our school systems are beginning to fall into place. That said, there is still much to learn, as we continue to move into this new school year. We’re excited for the upcoming ‘National College Colors Day’ on this Friday. We hope many will participate.

Cougar PRIDE Families, We had an amazing first week back at Casis! And it was wonderful to see all of our families at the Open House and PIM events that led to the start of school. These events help to ensure that our school year gets off to a smooth beginning, and it certainly has. Students, Staff, and Parents have all seemed so happy to be back and we look forward to continuing that same spirit and momentum. Our teachers and staff have all worked so hard to prepare for this new school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be a great final week at Casis! Last week, our ‘Track & Field Days’ were so great – everything from the ‘Penny Wars’ to the ‘Poster Contest’ to our ‘Guest Speaker’ to the ‘T & F Stations’, including the ‘Tug for Fun’ events. Big congratulations to our Physical Education Team and Parent Volunteers for a job well-done. This 2025– 2026 school year has been so very rewarding and has brought many wonderful moments.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, we were visited by the All Rhythms Cuban percussion band. It was such a nice way to end the week. This week is ‘Track & Field Days’, which will begin with an Opening Ceremony. And we’ll all actually enjoy one more School Holiday next Monday (Memorial Day), before departing for the summer months. The remaining events in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, we celebrated so much: Teacher Appreciation Week, School Nurse Appreciation Week, and National Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day. The remaining events in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, we concluded our celebration of Earth Week. And we also hosted our final Prospective Parent Tour, which was very well-attended once again. Well, April is gone and ‘May Days’ have arrived! In these next few weeks, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. This week is ‘Teacher Appreciation Week’ and ‘School Nurse Appreciation Week’, which we’re really excited about. The remaining happenings in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.
Casis Weekly (4/27/26 - 5/1/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, we began the celebration of Earth Week, which will continue this week. It was also the final round of the STAAR test for our 3rd – 5th grade students, which was a success. Along with a few appreciations for our Librarian, Office Staff, and Parent Volunteers, our staff got to enjoy an awesome lunch from P. Terry’s. And the week ended with a lovely Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast for our parents. This week, we will host our final Prospective Parent Tour for this year. A lot of upcoming happenings in the months of April and May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.
Casis Weekly (4/20/26 - 4/24/26)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our second round of the STAAR test with our 5th grade students was another successful happening. We know they did their best. And the 3rd Grade Choir Concert was a delightful performance that families highly enjoyed. Kudos to Nicole Stevens, Samantha Salazar, and the student performers! ‘Spirit Week’ Activities (Decorated Doors, Dress Up Days, and Spirit Rally) were also a lot of fun for our students and staff. And a good time was had by all at the adult ‘Celebrate Casis’ event as well. We do have so much to celebrate about our school and we are so very thankful to the Parent Coordinators and Volunteers for making every event activity so special.
