Casis Weekly (10/14/25 - 10/17/25)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! It was just awesome to see so many Casis families participating in ‘National Walk, Bike, & Roll To School Day’ last week. And we’re so happy to share that our annual ‘Vision and Hearing Screening’ activities went very well, with the help of our wonderful parent volunteers and School Nurse. This week will be ‘Picture Day’ and the planning for our ‘Enchanted Casis’ Carnival extravaganza is in full swing. You won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 24. It will be magical!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! It was just awesome to see so many Casis families (former, current, and future) this past Thursday night at House Park Stadium for the Austin High Vertical Team ‘Future Maroon Night’ event. Casis was represented very well, both in number and in school spirit. Way to go! This week, we will encourage families to walk, bike, or roll to school and we’re all excited to have a 4-day weekend this week. Well October is here and it’s ‘Casis Carnival Month’! The planning for our ‘Enchanted Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing and you won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 24. It will be magical!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of this school year was very engaging. It was great for myself, Ms. Beckham, and Ms. Davis to dialogue with parents about how the year has been going so far, as well as share thoughts about various school topics. Well October is here and it’s ‘Casis Carnival Month’! The planning for our ‘Enchanted Casis’ extravaganza is in full swing and you won’t want to miss it, so everyone should mark their calendars for Friday, October 24.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Fall has officially arrived and I know that we all can’t wait for cooler weather to arrive as well. We look forward to our first Administrators’ Coffee Chat of the school year this Friday. Both the School and PTA will continue planning school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’, promising to make this school year one that will be full of fun and learning.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! As we continue in the new school year, it’s hard to believe that we’re already entering the fifth week of school. Various school activities, like our ‘Fall Carnival’ and ‘Class Field Trips’ are currently being planned, promising to make this school year one that will be full of both fun and learning.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Here we are in our third week and our school systems are beginning to fall into place. That said, there is still much to learn, as we continue to move into this new school year. It was great to see so many special shirts and apparel on National College Day. And I certainly hope that the three-day weekend provided everyone a little time to slow down before the rest of the school year takes off.

Cougar PRIDE Families, We had an amazing first week back at Casis! And it was wonderful to see all of our families at the Open House and PIM events that led up to the start of school. These events help to ensure that our school year gets off to a smooth beginning and it certainly has. Students, Staff, and Parents have all seemed so happy to be back and we look forward to continuing that same spirit and momentum.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be a great final week at Casis! This 2024– 2025 school year has been so very rewarding and has brought many wonderful moments. And while sometimes there have also been challenges, those challenges have been faced head-on with resilience and positivity. I’m so very proud of our exceptional learning community. As school staff, parents, and students, we have all partnered together to keep learning a core focus, while we have also taken great measures to show care towards each other in so many ways.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, our ‘Track & Field Days’ were so great. Congratulations to our Physical Education Team and Parent Volunteers for a job well-done. And we’ll all actually enjoy one more School Holiday next Monday (Memorial Day), before departing for the summer months. Nice!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! In these last weeks of the school year, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. Last week, we celebrated so much: Teacher Appreciation Week, School Nurse Appreciation Week, and National Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day. This week is ‘Track & Field Days’, which we’re really excited about. The remaining events in the month of May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, we concluded our celebration of Earth Week with a 5th Grade Harvest Sale, which was so great. Special thanks to our Organic Garden Parent Coordinator, Chelsea Combs, who has done an outstanding job this year! We also hosted our final Prospective Parent Tour, which was very well-attended once again. Well, April is gone and ‘May Days’ have arrived!
