Casis Weekly (5/6/2024 - 5/10/2024)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! April is gone and May has arrived. In these next few weeks, there will be so many action-packed activities all the way to the last day of school. This week is ‘Teacher Appreciation Week’ and ‘Math Week’, which will be two very exciting celebratory events.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, Earth Week contained a lot of valuable and fun learning activities for students, the final round of the STAAR test for our older students was a success, staff enjoyed an awesome lunch from P. Terry’s, and our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast for our parents was wonderful and well-attended.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our second round of the STAAR test was a success and we hosted our final ‘Prospective Parent Tour’ of this school year. This week will contain more exciting and important activities: Earth Week activities, the final round of the STAAR Test, and our annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our ‘Solar Eclipse Viewing Party’ was simply amazing and we’re so glad to have experienced such a momentous happening together. ‘Spirit Week’ Activities (Decorated Doors, Dress Up Days, and Spirit Rally) were also a lot of fun for our students and staff.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our New Student Registration event was a success, with great community attendance. Also, the 4th Grade Choir Concert was a delightful performance that families highly enjoyed. Kudos to Nicole Stevens and the student performers! This week will contain more exciting and engaging activities: Solar Eclipse Viewing Party, Celebrate Casis Spirit Week activities, including a Spirit Rally, and the highly anticipated ‘Celebrate Casis’ adult event.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our Prospective Parent Tour was once again well attended. And our 2nd annual Casis Community Picnic was a great coming together. The weather certainly didn’t stop the fun and the guest magician was such a crowd pleaser. This week will contain more exciting activities, like our New Student Registration event and our 4th Grade Choir Concert.
Casis (3/25/24 - 3/28/24)
Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, AISD Pride Week was a wonderful celebration, where we highlighted the importance of being an accepting and welcoming community for all students. And the 3rd Grade Choir Concert was just excellent! Kudos to Ms. Stevens and the students for putting on an exceptional performance.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! I hope that everyone enjoyed relaxing time with family over the break and are ready to ‘spring back’ into the rest of the school year. This week we are excited and look forward to our 3rd Grade Choir Concert. And as we continue our work together this second semester, there is still much to learn, to do, and to look forward to

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week’s ‘Prospective Parent Tour’ was well-attended and a lot of fun. This week will be ‘Class Picture Day’ at Casis and we can’t wait to see all those smiling faces. March is here and Spring is upon us! During our upcoming Spring Break holiday, I hope that everyone will spend quality time with family and get some well-deserved rest time for yourselves

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Our last Administrator’s’ Coffee Chat of the year with parents was great and we look forward to our next Prospective Parent Tour this week. This is also the last week for Spring Conferences, as we head into the month of March. Yes, March is here and Spring is upon us!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! I hope that Presidents’ Day was an enjoyable day off for everyone. I know that I enjoyed the extended weekend. This week, we look forward to another Administrators’ Coffee Chat on Friday. And Spring Conferences will continue through this month, as needed.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, we were thrilled to welcome Mac Barnett back to Casis for our annual Author Visit event. It was such an exciting day of presentations and book-signings. And the luncheon with the staff was simply amazing. Special thanks to our Librarian, Courtney Ewing, and our Parent Volunteers, who made this event so very memorable for us all.
