Spanish is designed to help students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It also introduces students to Spanish-speaking cultures and develops an appreciation for other groups of people. Because AISD values multilingual programs in schools of all make-ups, the Spanish teacher position is a district-funded position and shared with another elementary school in AISD.
