Casis Weekly (8/21/23 - 8/25/23)
Cougar PRIDE Families, We had an amazing first week back at Casis! It was also wonderful to see all of our families at the prior week’s Open House and PIM events that led up to the start of school. These events help to ensure that our school year gets off to a smooth beginning and it certainly has. Students, Staff, and Parents have all seemed so happy to be back and we look forward to continuing that same spirit and momentum.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be a great final week at Casis! This 2022 – 2023 school year has been so very rewarding and has brought many joyous moments. And while sometimes there have also been challenges, those challenges have been faced head-on with resilience and positivity. During this first full year in our new modernized facility, as well as this first year of welcomed ‘normalcy’ since the pandemic, I’m so very proud of our exceptional learning community.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our teachers and staff truly felt the love from our families during Teacher Appreciation Week. This week, we’re really excited about our upcoming Track & Field Days. The remaining happenings in the month of May will continue to bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our final round of the STAAR test was completed for our students. We are so very proud of the hard work and effort that our 3rd – 5th grade students displayed for all of these state-required assessments. We have high expectations about the outcomes and look forward to receiving the results in the early Fall semester. This week, we’re excited to celebrate the work of all of our Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and Substitute Teachers – it’s Teacher Appreciation Week!

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our second round of the STAAR test was another success and our staff enjoyed a great P. Terry’s lunch, sponsored by Frost Bank. And this week will be the final round of the STAAR test (Math) for our 3rd – 5th Graders. The remaining happenings in the month of May will continue to bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, our first round of the STAAR test was very successful, our last Parent Tour was well-attended, and our Volunteer Breakfast was heart-warming. This week, we will wish our 5th Graders luck, as they take their Science STAAR test.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! ‘Spirit Week’ was so much fun for our students and staff last week. And a good time was had by all at the adult ‘Celebrate Casis’ event as well. We do have so much to celebrate about our school and we are so very thankful to the Parent Coordinators and Volunteers for making every event activity so special. This week will contain more exciting and important activities: STAAR Test, Parent Tour, and a Volunteer Breakfast.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! This past week, the Casis Science Fair was a great opportunity for students to showcase their science knowledge. We want to thank the Science Committee and our Volunteer Judges for their support in this event. The ‘New Student Registration’ event held last week was also a success, with strong community attendance. This week will contain more exciting and important activities: Celebrate Casis Spirit Week activities, including a Spirit Rally, and the highly anticipated Adult Event.

Cougar PRIDE Families, This week will contain more exciting and important activities: Casis Science Fair, New Student Registration Event, and another School Holiday. A lot of the upcoming happenings in the months of April and May will bring closure to this school year, as we also plan for the next school year.

Cougar PRIDE Families, It’s going to be another great week at Casis! Last week, AISD Pride Week was a wonderful celebration, where we highlighted the importance of being an accepting and welcoming community for all students.
